Justin Hill, a longtime Currituck County High School baseball coach, has been suspended for forcing nine of his players to spit in his face.

Punish baseball players by making them spit? That’ll teach ’em!

According to WAVY-TV, Hill got upset after nine players missed a scheduled practice. Allegedly, at the next practice, each one of them was required to partake in their “punishment.” The coach was suspended for one game.

Hill did end up apologizing to the team, but if having players spit in his face is a punishment, then what’s an apology? Setting their cars on fire?
